According to various salary data sources, the typical hourly wage for early childhood educators and aides generally falls between $15 to $20, with variations based on experience, qualifications, and specific job responsibilities. While $16 is within this range, it may be on the lower end for experienced candidates, especially in an area like Flint, where cost of living considerations might weigh into compensation.
