AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for the role of “Server” at Big E’s Sports Grill in Holland, MI, it would be essential to compare it to the average wage for servers in similar establishments in the area, which typically ranges from $12 to $16 per hour, excluding tips. In Michigan, the minimum wage for servers, who often earn tips, is lower than the standard minimum wage, currently set at $9.87 per hour, but they can earn significantly more when tips are included. If the advertised rate falls within or above this range, it can be considered competitive. Additionally, factors such as the restaurant’s reputation, the level of service expected, and local demand for hospitality jobs can also impact this competitiveness. To provide a more accurate analysis, specific hourly wage data is needed, but maintaining pay in alignment with industry standards plus the potential for tips will generally ensure the role remains appealing to prospective employees.
