Position Summary

  • As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and loading soiled linen into washers, loading clean linens into dryers, folding clean linens, and accurately counting and recording the linen processed each day. You will also ensure timely deliveries to various units and maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including machines, tables, and sorting zones.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols when mixing and using cleaning solutions. Report any equipment or cleaning product issues to your supervisor promptly and maintain established quality and safety standards. Follow infection control and universal precautions policies at all times.
  • Punctuality: Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality. Complete assigned tasks timely and respond to the paging system appropriately.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and maintaining courteous relations with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in pleasant and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications
