Rose Senior Living is currently seeking a dedicated and hospitality-driven Housekeeping Associate to become a valued member of our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our community remains clean and welcoming by performing various housekeeping and laundry tasks.
SCHEDULE: Part-time, Tuesday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour. The actual pay offered will take into consideration an array of factors, including your skills, qualifications, certifications, experience, and other relevant criteria.
About this Role: The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for executing housekeeping and laundry services that uphold an aesthetically pleasing, clean, and comfortable environment, effectively meeting the needs of our residents.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- A minimum of three to six months of experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role is necessary.
Essential Job Functions:
- Execute weekly cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace them with fresh linens as needed.
- Clean phones, bathrooms, and kitchen areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Dust furniture and lamps, and clean the exterior of refrigerators.
- Inspect for and remove cobwebs.
- Vacuum carpets and perform sweeping and mopping as required.
- Rotate mattresses when applicable.
- Vacuum and dust hallways to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean fingerprints from windows, doors, mirrors, and fixtures as necessary.
- Attend to the cleanliness of common areas as needed.
- Clean resident rooms and bathrooms according to the schedule.
- Complete maintenance slips and submit them for necessary repairs.
- Mop stairways as needed where applicable.
- Polish and clean trash and linen chutes when applicable.
- Launder all linens when applicable.
- Prioritize work tasks as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in optimal condition.
- Represent the community in a warm, welcoming manner that promotes a positive marketing environment.
- Support the creation of a culture where business decisions and individual employee engagement contribute to enhanced revenue and occupancy.
