Job description:

The Rental Car Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles to and from designated locations, which may include an airport or rental car facility, based on contractual requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
  • Previous experience is not required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service is advantageous.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate vehicles within and/or between rental locations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues.
  • Report incidents or claims to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Drive various passenger vehicles, including SUVs, vans, and pickups.
  • Execute pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure vehicles are operating properly and in compliance with safety standards.
