Position Summary

  • Laundry Worker: Responsible for the collection, sorting, and processing of soiled linens, as well as the folding and delivery of clean linens. Duties include maintaining meticulous records of linen processed daily and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
  • Safety: Utilize protective gear appropriately, ensure the safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions, report equipment and product needs to supervisors, and comply with all safety and quality standards. Maintain adherence to infection control and universal safety protocols.
  • Punctuality: Consistently demonstrate attendance and punctuality, ensuring timely completion of tasks and responsiveness to the paging system.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and maintaining professional interactions with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude with the capability to follow both oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks consistently.
  • After completing all necessary training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently, ensuring safety for yourself and others.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
