AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $300 to $400 per day for a Dance Photographer in Detroit, MI, translates to approximately $37.50 to $50 per hour, which is generally competitive within the freelance photography market. For specialized roles like dance photography, rates can vary based on factors such as experience, portfolio quality, and the specific demands of a shoot (e.g., event coverage, portraits, or promotional materials). Typically, freelance photographers in urban areas may charge anywhere from $25 to $150 per hour, with niche specialties like performance and dance photography often commanding higher fees due to the unique skill set required.
