Job description:
The role entails selling, fitting, and dispensing eyewear to our valued customers while ensuring a superior service experience. Key responsibilities include:

– Achieving the sales and operational objectives set forth by National Vision.
– Upholding National Vision’s Code of Conduct to promote a professional and productive environment for all associates.
– Embodying National Vision’s Mission, Vision, and Values by fostering an inclusive and respectful atmosphere for both associates and customers.
– Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to customers, consistent with state law regulations.
– Providing training for the insertion and removal of contact lenses to customers, in accordance with state law.
– Educating clients on the appropriate care for eyewear and contact lenses.
– Maintaining accurate and organized patient records.
– Communicating with customers regarding the status of their orders, including notifying them of any delays.
– Assisting customers in selecting eyewear, making appropriate product recommendations aligned with their lifestyle and prescription needs.
– Managing incoming phone calls by screening and forwarding them according to National Vision protocol.
– Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of all equipment, workstations, and the facility on a daily basis.
– Adhering to inventory control and loss prevention procedures consistently.
– Implementing visual merchandising standards in accordance with Brand and Company guidelines.

Qualifications for this position include:

– A minimum of 1 year of related experience or training in retail or customer service, preferred.
– Strong sales proficiency, with the ability to achieve both personal and store sales targets while adhering to company policies.
– Bilingual abilities are preferred in select locations.
– Exceptional communication skills, capable of providing instructions clearly and concisely to customers.
