AI Pay Analysis: To analyze the hourly rate for a “Hospice Aide, STNA – Full Time” position in Ann Arbor, MI, it is important to consider both local and national trends in compensation for similar roles. As of October 2023, the average hourly wage for hospice aides or state-tested nursing assistants (STNAs) typically ranges from $13 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, certification, and the specific employer. In Ann Arbor, which often sees higher cost-of-living adjustments, competitive wages may be on the upper end of this range or slightly above. If the hourly rate you have is within or above this range, it would be considered competitive and in line with industry standards for the area; however, if it’s significantly lower, it may not attract suitable candidates given the demands of the role and prevailing economic conditions.
