As the welcoming face of our stores, Receptionists play a vital role in providing a positive first impression to customers upon their arrival. They are entrusted with maintaining organized patient records and ensuring that patient schedules run smoothly. Acting as a linchpin in our operations, Receptionists help keep the team on track and deliver prompt, courteous service to customers, whether in person or over the phone.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Facilitating a seamless flow of customers throughout the store.
  • Answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls per National Vision protocols.
  • Processing managed care plans and coordinating with insurance providers to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Providing customers with accurate and useful information.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, as well as follow-up visits and classes.
  • Filing patient records daily and preparing files for upcoming appointments.
  • Checking the status of orders and promptly notifying customers of their arrival or any delays.
  • Ensuring the reception area is tidy and equipped with all necessary materials.
  • Managing daily mail and deliveries, and maintaining an inventory of office supplies.
  • Participating in regular mandatory communication meetings.

Are you the right fit for this role?

  • Proficiency in English speaking and reading is essential.
  • Prior experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role is preferred, but not mandatory.
