THE JOB:
The Workforce Management Clerk plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for internal customers regarding scheduling and time-off requests. This position involves performing various administrative tasks, including managing email, phone, and in-person interactions. The role encompasses engagement with both staff and management and fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Sort and prepare documents for scanning, ensuring all items, including staples, paperclips, and rubber bands, are removed. Unfold, straighten, and compile forms as necessary.
  • Index each employee record document in the Perceptive scanning system, ensuring images are accurate, legible, and properly accounted for.
  • Organize and file documents for scanning, maintaining a systematic approach.
  • Update and maintain retention data within the company’s systems, ensuring adherence to destruction schedules.
  • Provide constructive feedback to departments regarding compliance with the document retention program, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
  • Foster strong communication and interaction with internal customers, consistently identifying and fulfilling their requirements.
  • Cultivate effective working relationships between the department, business units, and other corporate divisions to enhance operational processes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in accounting, payroll, or auditing.
  • Previous experience in a comparable casino resort or Financial Shared Services Center environment.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to address various situations professionally and effectively.
  • Initiative-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Capability to navigate change management, including participating in the development of innovative solutions that necessitate significant operational shifts.
