What you’ll do…
– Ensure the safety of the facility by adhering to all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, which includes conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift operating procedures, handling hazardous materials appropriately, adhering to company safety standards, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
– Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer, cooler, and deli areas, consistent with company policies and procedures. This includes managing claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, ensuring correct pricing and signage, completing necessary audits and documentation, and securing high-shrink items.
– Deliver exemplary member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with product location and purchasing decisions, providing deli products, addressing concerns, and promoting the company’s offerings.
– Comply with company policies and procedures regarding the freezer and cooler areas, which involve food handling practices, equipment operation and sanitization, managing cold chain procedures, cleaning designated areas, and proactively monitoring equipment functionality while reporting issues to management.
