Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

As a Mixer at Litehouse, you will play a vital role in the operation of various mix systems, including spice preparation and testing.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Load ingredients into blenders and operate pumping and metering systems to create detailed and complex high-value recipes, utilizing advanced batch automation computer systems as necessary.
  • Perform changeovers and wash out machinery between jobs while adhering to stringent allergen guidelines and detailed cleaning requirements.
  • Maintain a clean work area and actively participate in housekeeping throughout the facility and its grounds.
  • Use data collection systems to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability, while employing a FIFO (first in, first out) approach to ingredient usage.
  • Requisition supplies and maintain accurate production records, ensuring correct entries into factory software.
  • Take responsibility for adhering to Food Safety policies and promptly report any food safety and quality concerns to a supervisor.
  • Be prepared to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based batch automation technology.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, focused, and able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 55 lbs independently.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and capability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas professionally and efficiently.
  • Capacity for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all contacts, both internal and external to the company, utilizing strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
