Job description:
Hours for this position are from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The compensation for this role is set at $19.31 per hour. Litehouse Foods is actively seeking to hire a strategic and dedicated full-time Material Handler II.

The Material Handler II will be responsible for receiving and supplying raw materials and dressings as dictated by production needs. Key responsibilities include picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping orders, and receiving items utilizing a forklift.
Essential Job Duties:
- Operate a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices to move materials and accurately pick/stack customer orders or receive vendor orders.
- Manually load or unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices, following stacking patterns to ensure safety and uphold customer quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage inventory transactions.
- Adhere to Food Safety policies and promptly report food safety and quality concerns to a supervisor.
- Utilize a hand-held scanner data collection system to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Achieve and maintain certification for operating industrial powered equipment pertinent to this role.
- Maintain a clean work area and actively participate in housekeeping efforts throughout the facility and grounds.
- Be prepared to frequently work overtime and weekends as required.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
- Forklift experience is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to express ideas effectively and efficiently.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders both within and outside the company.
