Job Title: 2nd Shift Facility & Maintenance Technician | Radisson Plaza Hotel

Company: Greenleaf Hospitality Group

Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Pay: $19 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $19 for a “2nd Shift Facility & Maintenance Technician” at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo, MI, is on the lower end of the pay scale for similar roles in the hospitality and maintenance sectors. Data from sources like the Bureau of Labor Statistics and local salary surveys indicate that maintenance technicians in similar hotel settings typically earn between $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and the complexity of tasks. Additionally, Kalamazoo has a relatively lower cost of living compared to larger urban areas, but the offered rate may not be competitive enough to attract skilled candidates, especially given the demands often placed on maintenance staff in a hotel environment. Overall, this hourly wage could benefit from an adjustment to align better with industry standards and local expectations.
