AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15.50 to $18.25 for a “2nd shift Resident Aide” in Hudsonville, MI, is generally competitive but may vary based on several factors. While it falls within the typical pay range for similar roles in the healthcare and residential care industry, where the average hourly wage often ranges from $14 to $20, the specific rate can depend on the level of experience, certifications, and the demands of the position. Considering the rising cost of living and the recent trends in wage increases for caregiving roles, this pay range is reasonable; however, organizations looking to attract and retain qualified staff might consider offering higher wages or additional benefits to remain competitive in the market.
