Job description:

Mom’s Meals, a leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals within the healthcare market, is experiencing significant growth. We are seeking a Fulfillment Associate who will play a vital role in our operations by ensuring that a portion of each customer’s order is picked, scanned, and packed efficiently and safely. This position operates in a fast-paced environment where associates will remain in a refrigerated setting throughout the duration of their shift. Weekend availability may be required.

The third shift operates from 11 PM to 7 AM, offering a starting hourly wage of $17.50.

Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately select items for cooler boxes, ensuring proper scanning and packing to complete customer orders.
• Strict adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail while performing job duties, including reading labels and selecting products.
• Achieve established productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
• Consistently produce high-quality work.
• Move products within the facility while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks.
• Work within a climate-controlled warehouse maintained at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit (gloves provided).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Capability to stand or walk for 8 to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Availability for shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
• A strong service orientation and teamwork mentality, including effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic reading skills are required.
• Successful completion of a post-offer drug screening and background check.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to handle and manipulate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to stand, talk, and listen.
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities must include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Capable of performing repetitive movements and working in varying temperatures (cold/hot).
