As a Mixer at Litehouse, you will play a pivotal role in the operation of all mixing systems including spice preparation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately load ingredients into blenders and operate pumping and metering systems to create intricate, high-value recipes. Utilize advanced batch automation computer systems as necessary.
• Perform machinery changeovers and cleanouts between production runs while strictly adhering to allergen protocols and specific cleaning requirements.
• Ensure a clean work environment and engage in housekeeping activities throughout the facility and grounds.
• Utilize a data collection system to uphold inventory accuracy and traceability, applying the FIFO method to use the oldest ingredients first.
• Requisition supplies and maintain accurate production records, ensuring correct data entry into factory software.
• Comply with Food Safety policies and promptly report any food safety or quality concerns to your supervisor.
• Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using computer-based batch automation technology.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Capable of frequently lifting up to 55 lbs. independently.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Self-motivation with an ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
