Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a robust background in electrical engineering to support the growth of sales and the development of customer relationships. This pivotal role involves identifying motor solutions tailored to customer needs, conducting comprehensive market research, and managing client accounts to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Activities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients in alignment with company strategy.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customer Purchasing and Engineering teams through regular communication, including meetings, calls, and emails.
  • Collaborate with Management and Engineering teams to ensure product success and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver corporate and technical presentations following extensive product training.
  • Lead negotiations and oversee contract reviews in collaboration with customer purchasing teams.

Marketing Activities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to keep the department informed and competitive.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and supplier conferences to uncover new business opportunities.

Account Management Activities:

  • Champion customer advocacy by ensuring seamless coordination across Management, Operations, and Quality teams to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Maintain precise CRM records on customer program details and oversee sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely delivery, addressing overdue accounts in a diplomatic manner.
  • Host customer visits to company facilities as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales and Technical Aptitude: Proven experience in both sales and technical domains, with the capacity to articulate and elucidate product benefits.
  • Customer Service: Strong aptitude for translating customer needs into actionable solutions.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills and clear communication abilities for effective presentations and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Outstanding interpersonal skills for developing networks with diverse teams and clients.
