Job Summary (Purpose):
The Utility Worker is primarily responsible for operations in the outdoor production area of the AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange facility, specifically focusing on the processing of 20-pound barbeque grill cylinders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
  • Consistently prioritize safety and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Ensure the quality standards of processed cylinders are met.
  • Load filled cylinders onto trucks for subsequent shipments.
  • Stand and walk for 8 to 12 hours per day.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
