Job description:

The Assistant Store Manager-PT plays a vital role within Acima by reporting directly to the Store Manager and assisting in both account management and sales activities. This position is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer service experience. The Assistant Manager will actively collaborate with Acima’s retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders, converting them into Acima credit customers. This role also entails reviewing lease applications, advocating for Acima’s leasing benefits, and driving conversion rates. The responsibilities will be carried out at one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation is offered on an hourly basis, in line with Acima’s standard payroll procedures, with a pay rate ranging from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Account Management

  • Drive customer growth through various channels, including online platforms, partner stores, and walk-in visits.
  • Listen to, identify, and address all customer needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payment options, benefits, and the overall application process.
  • Complete the sales cycle by converting applications from both in-store and online orders.
  • Collaborate effectively with Acima partner stores across all operational aspects.
  • Report and communicate regularly with the Store Manager regarding store and coworker performance and activities.

Customer Service

  • Build partnerships with retail personnel to generate referrals and educate customers on the Lease-To-Own process.
  • Respond swiftly to customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure consistent satisfaction and friendly service.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere that enhances coworker retention and minimizes turnover.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is advantageous.
  • Organized, with strong time-management capabilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
