The administrative assistant plays a vital role by providing administrative, receptionist, and clerical support, which includes but is not limited to managing telephone calls, handling mail, performing data entry, filing, billing, payroll, and other related tasks such as copying and scanning.
Responsibilities:
– Provide administrative services to the Project Manager.
– Offer various support functions to the district.
– Manage and maintain district office and fleet inventory.
– Coordinate deliveries and schedule vehicle maintenance as necessary.
– Prepare materials for regular training sessions.
– Provide attendance records and other necessary reporting.
– Manage travel expenses and arrangements, including hotel reservations and per diem.
– Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent is required.
– A minimum of 6 months of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
– Proficiency in computer skills, including the MS Office Suite and Outlook, is required.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to assist with various projects as assigned.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
– Must be a team player.
