Position Overview:
FedSync is seeking a skilled Administrative Support III to join our team on a part-time basis (5 days a week, 4 hours each morning). This role will provide essential secretarial and clerical support to the Office of Protective Services at NASA Glenn Research Center. The successful candidate will manage office operations, execute a variety of administrative and clerical tasks independently, support meetings, and assist customers with inquiries related to the organization’s mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive telephone services.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and calendar services.
  • Facilitate visitor services.
  • Support correspondence and records management.
  • Oversee mail services and information delivery.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and restocking.
  • Coordinate time and attendance management.
  • Assist with team and collaboration portal utilization.
  • Aid in performance management activities.
  • Coordinate relocation efforts.
  • Offer data entry support.
  • Provide meeting and event support services.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements.
  • Assist with small purchase activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A high school diploma is required; vocational school education is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint—as well as Adobe Acrobat is required. Familiarity with all functionalities of Outlook Calendar and email, formatting and proofreading documents, and event planning is advantageous. Experience in coordinating meetings and events is also beneficial.
