Job Title: Admissions Counselor, Hybrid, College Of Allied Health Sciences

Company: University of Cincinnati

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $45000 per year

AI Pay Analysis: An annual salary of $45,000 for an Admissions Counselor position in Cincinnati, OH, translates to an hourly rate of approximately $21.63. This figure appears to be on the lower end of the spectrum for similar roles in higher education, particularly in metropolitan areas like Cincinnati, where the average salary for admissions counselors typically ranges from $40,000 to $65,000, depending on the institution and level of experience. While it may be competitive for entry-level positions, it may not adequately reflect the skills and responsibilities associated with a hybrid role in a specialized field like Allied Health Sciences, which often requires a higher level of expertise and customer service. Overall, this salary may be considered less attractive compared to industry standards.

Job description:
Current University of Cincinnati employees are encouraged to apply internally through SuccessFactors.

Founded in 1819, the University of Cincinnati is recognized as one of the nation’s premier urban public research universities. With a vibrant community of 53,235 students, over 11,000 faculty and staff, and more than 350,000 living alumni, UC merges its status as a Top 35 public research institution with an innovative campus design deemed “the most ambitious” by The New York Times.

The momentum at UC is bolstered by the launch of Next Lives Here, the Cincinnati Innovation District—a $100 million investment from JobsOhio, three consecutive years of record enrollment, a global reputation for leadership in cooperative education, a dynamic academic health center, and entry into the Big 12 Conference. The university’s annual budget is $1.85 billion, supported by an endowment nearing $1.8 billion.
