As a part-time Admissions Host on Team Merlin, you will play a vital role in crafting memorable experiences for our guests while actively contributing to repeat visitation. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of presentation and product knowledge, and ensuring a magical, enjoyable, and safe atmosphere for all.

Responsibilities:

– Adopt an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service, exemplifying the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
– Proactively engage with guests, exhibiting boundless enthusiasm and energy.
– Maintain a strong sales presence, striving to exceed sales targets.
– Manage queue lines in a safe manner while ensuring an excellent guest experience.
– Communicate comfortably with a diverse range of guests, visitors, and team members.
– Ensure public areas have well-stocked displays and sales points, maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the day.
– Adhere to opening and closing procedures as outlined in the department’s operating plan.
– Uphold compliance with Health, Safety, and Security protocols within the workplace, including adherence to COVID-19 policies and regulations.
– Be prepared for tasks that may involve standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching for extended periods.

Qualifications & Experience

About You

– Preferred 6 months to 1 year of experience in ticketing/admissions, attractions, entertainment, or customer service roles.
– Possess a fun, dynamic, and friendly demeanor.
– Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills with both team members and guests.
– Comfortable working in environments with loud noises and confined spaces.
– Self-motivated, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team, with strong problem-solving skills to address guest inquiries or concerns.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
