As a part-time Admissions Host with Team Merlin, you will play a key role in crafting exceptional experiences for our guests while promoting repeat visits. You will uphold the highest standards of guest service, presentation, and product knowledge, ensuring that each guest enjoys a magical, engaging, and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
– Adopt an enthusiastic and passionate approach to Guest Service, embodying the Merlin Values at every opportunity.
– Actively engage with guests, showcasing boundless enthusiasm and energy.
– Maintain a strong sales orientation to maximize achievement of sales goals.
– Safely manage queue lines while delivering an outstanding guest experience.
– Communicate comfortably and enjoyably with a diverse range of guests, visitors, and team members.
– Ensure all public areas are stocked with displays and point-of-sale materials prior to the attraction’s opening, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
– Follow the opening and closing procedures outlined in the department’s operating plan.
– Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Security protocols, including COVID-19 policies and regulations.
– This position may require standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching repeatedly or for extended periods.

Qualifications & Experience:
– Preferred 6 months to 1 year of experience in ticketing/admissions, attractions, entertainment, or customer service roles.
– A fun, dynamic, and friendly demeanor.
– Excellent communication and listening skills with both team members and guests.
– Ability to work in environments with loud noises and confined spaces.
– Self-motivated, capable of working independently or collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills to address guest inquiries or concerns.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
