Job Description
The Clamp Operator plays a vital role in our dynamic warehousing operations, ensuring the efficient movement of products throughout the warehouse for stacking or assembly. In this position, you will gain valuable experience in forklift operations, inventory management, productivity, and safety standards. Responsibilities include:

• Safely unloading inbound shipments and moving products as required.
• Efficiently stacking and storing merchandise in designated areas.
• Checking or counting freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation.
• Preparing necessary paperwork for submission to the Operations Manager.
• Engaging in frequent and repetitive lifting using both hands/arms for items weighing approximately 50 lbs, potentially exceeding 100 repetitions per shift.
• Frequent bending and twisting at the waist, knees, and neck during loading and unloading operations.
• Assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding grounds.
• Performing all tasks in alignment with the appropriate safety and security standards.
• Supporting warehousing operations as needed and completing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Maintaining the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
• Adhering to warehouse work rules, COVID-19 protocols, and housekeeping policies.
• Lifting using proper safety methods as outlined by the company.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clamp Operator is required.
• Experience in a beverage plant or warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated integrity in handling customer products.
• Successful completion of all pre-employment testing, which includes a background check and drug screening.

Details & Location

• Position located in Romulus, Michigan.
• Work hours from 3 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work on Fridays and overtime as needed.
• Starting wage: $17.00 per hour.
