Job description:

We are seeking a part-time associate to represent our suppliers by sampling alcohol products at a Sam’s Club location. In this dynamic role, you will engage customers by introducing them to new and exciting alcohol brands through tastings. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstration, or brand advocacy is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to a professional appearance that aligns with dress code requirements specific to alcohol sampling (predominantly black attire).
  • Understand and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to the sampling and marketing of alcohol.
  • Obtain the necessary permits, licenses, or certifications as required by law.
  • Professionally and safely prepare and serve alcohol and food samples using a variety of equipment and small appliances.

Qualifications:

  • Must be between 18 and 21 years of age, depending on location.
  • Availability on weekends (Friday through Sunday) is preferred; holiday and weekday work opportunities are also available.
  • Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays is essential.
  • Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwaves, toaster ovens, and hot plates.
  • Capability to stand for the duration of the sampling event.

Work Environment:
