As a Leasing Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents in order to cultivate resident retention and secure lease agreements. This role reports directly to the property manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome prospective residents and conduct property tours while assessing their housing needs and preferences, ultimately guiding them to close leads.
  • Accurately prepare and assist new residents with all leasing documentation, including move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and conducting employment and credit checks.
  • Collect security deposits, rent, and any additional charges related to resident move-ins.
  • Clearly communicate all lease agreements and community policies to both new and existing residents.
  • Follow up with all leads and prospects who did not proceed with leasing.
  • Ensure apartments are ready for move-in by performing inspections and adding final touches as necessary.
  • Utilize innovative marketing techniques to attract new residents.
  • Oversee the lease renewal process effectively.
  • Respond promptly to all calls, emails, and site visits.

Successful candidates may have prior experience in real estate, retail, sales, leasing, hospitality, or customer service and demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with diverse personalities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and familiarity with social media platforms, is required.
  • Familiarity with leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Onesite, or MRI is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends is required.
