Our mission is to teach children aged 3 months to 12 years essential water safety skills while delivering high-quality swim instruction in a fun setting. Our team of swim instructors is devoted to fostering a love for swimming while ensuring that children learn the fundamentals of good form for all four swimming strokes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School, which includes managing daily operations related to safety, staffing, pool management, swim lesson quality, customer service, and employee engagement, among other responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Direct and monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with Goldfish Swim School’s standard operating procedures.
2. Assist the General Manager and department managers in achieving daily operational goals.
3. Manage staff to promote high productivity, exceptional performance, and member satisfaction.
4. Initiate and oversee employee engagement activities aimed at enhancing overall job satisfaction.
5. Train and supervise the aquatics department to ensure the delivery of superior swim instruction.
6. Collaborate with all wet side staff on matters related to class scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee training and performance.
7. Troubleshoot issues within the mechanical room as necessary.
8. Acquire extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in pool operations to maintain a safe and sanitary aquatic environment.
9. Facilitate the development and growth of wet side staff.
10. Ensure the delivery of high-quality swim lessons.
11. Direct, train, and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and related safety procedures within the GSS facility.
12. Maintain current certifications and stay updated on developments in aquatics and management practices.
