Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the secure delivery or pick-up and reconciliation of valuables at customer locations.
- Maintain continuous radio communication with vehicle crew and dispatch personnel to ensure secure transactions.
- Uphold the highest standards of security and control over customer shipments at all times.
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor during all customer interactions.
- Stay vigilant and prepared at all times, safeguarding against potential threats and monitoring for any accidental packaging mishandling that could result in loss.
- Accurately reconcile customer deposits and receipts of all valuables processed during daily operations.
- Adhere to all security and safety protocols.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours as required.
- Cross-train and undertake additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of the following fields: Messenger/Courier roles, face-to-face customer service positions, security, military, or protective services.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Compliance with all relevant Department of Transportation regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid firearms permit is required.
- Possession of a valid guard card or ability to obtain one, along with any other necessary licenses.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an armored car messenger.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics.
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
