A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (ABM)
We provide you with all the essential tools to succeed and progress toward a Branch Manager position. As a new ABM, you will undergo an 18 to 24-month paid training program designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of branch management. After this comprehensive training, you will apply what you have learned as you take on management responsibilities at your own branch. Please note that promotion to Branch Manager typically necessitates relocation; however, we offer a full relocation package for those moving over 50 miles.
In this role, your primary focus will be on assisting our customers in achieving their financial goals. You will actively pursue opportunities to generate new loan business by engaging with our customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the most suitable consumer loan and voluntary product solutions. You will also educate customers on our lending services, including strategies for improving credit and consolidating debt. Extra support throughout the loan application process and payment reminder communications will also be part of your responsibilities.
Your contributions will extend to various tasks that drive the branch’s overall success, such as evaluating loan applications, conducting risk analyses, making informed credit decisions, overseeing loan closings, and processing insurance claims. Your management skills will shine as you assist the Branch Manager in recruiting, training, and developing plans that align with sales goals while promoting our core values and delivering an exceptional client experience. Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in Business, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
– A minimum of one year of customer-facing sales experience (e.g., retail sales, goal-oriented, incentive-based) is preferred, but not mandatory.
– A professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and excellent customer relations capabilities are essential.
– The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
