Job description:

As an Assistant Manager within our Food & Beverage team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our team members in delivering exceptional experiences for our members. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our associates feel a sense of belonging, appreciation, and are equipped with the necessary tools for success.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front-of-house food and beverage team members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing training programs, establishing and maintaining service standards, managing inventory performance, and overseeing staff scheduling.
  • Support operations across Carmichael’s restaurant, the ACC Café, The Booth bowling center, as well as the banquet and culinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a server and/or bartender.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in food and beverage, with prior club experience being advantageous.
  • A strong passion for food and beverage operations, a commitment to service excellence, and the ability to encourage unique experiences.
  • Proficient in anticipating needs and identifying potential issues before they escalate.
  • Effective time and resource management skills to meet established goals.
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends and some holidays.

Salary & Schedule

  • Salary: $50,000, dependent on experience.
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Shift: Varied; some holidays required. However, the club is closed on many major holidays and bank holidays, along with a one-week shutdown in August.
