Overview:
The Assistant General Manager supports a high-performance gym environment and collaborates closely with the General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the facility. This role is instrumental in training, developing, and supervising the Member Service Representative (MSR) team, with a primary focus on delivering an exceptional member experience in accordance with Crunch brand standards.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of high-performing team members to ensure optimal staffing levels at all times.
– Monitor staff performance and scoreboard metrics to meet or exceed key performance indicator (KPI) standards.
– Lead by example to meet personal and team performance targets.
– Manage team member performance standards through ongoing development, training, and coaching.
– Provide support to the General Manager in various areas, including but not limited to:
– Scheduling and labor management
– Member service resolution with urgency and empathy
– Addressing or escalating employee issues and concerns
– Lead generation and outreach initiatives to enhance new member sales
– New member acquisition and seamless integration into all services and programs available
– Team member goal setting, development planning, and conducting regular staff meetings
– Supervise club asset management, including inventory reconciliation, supply ordering, and small equipment expenditures
– Engage in and supervise all front desk activities and Kid’s Crunch-related operations
– Ensure a clean facility while overseeing the maintenance of equipment
– Oversee the Daily Cleaning Checklist and manage facility/equipment work order requests
– Utilize Crunch-specific tools for communication, documentation, and overall club operations, including incident reporting, facility standards, and process integration
– Ensure consistent compliance with all Crunch policies, procedures, and service standards.

Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a fitness facility and/or customer service-oriented environment
– Proven ability to execute objectives swiftly and effectively manage key KPIs
– Prior experience in leading and supervising employees is preferred
– CPR/AED certification is required (may be obtained within 30 days of hire)
– Understanding of labor control, staffing levels, and overtime management
– Clear and confident communication skills

– Reports directly to the General Manager
– Collaborates with the Fit Fusion management team
