Job Title: Assistant Microbiologist (Night Shift, 6:30p to 7:00a ; Rotating Weekends)
Company: Abbott
Location: Tipp City, OH
Pay: $18.65 – 37.35 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly wage of $18.65 to $37.35 for the role of “Assistant Microbiologist (Night Shift)” in Tipp City, OH, appears to be competitive, particularly considering the night shift and weekend rotation that often justifies higher pay due to the less desirable hours. According to industry standards, entry-level microbiology positions typically start around $18 to $25 per hour, while more experienced roles can command higher rates, often reaching the higher end of this range. In Ohio, salaries for laboratory and microbiology-related positions can vary significantly based on experience, education, and specific employer circumstances. Therefore, this pay scale appears to align well with local market conditions, especially with the allowance for potential overtime or differential pay for night shifts.
