We are actively seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our cutting-edge automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Toledo, OH area. As one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient operation of the repair shop. Responsibilities include scheduling mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to the highest quality standards, maintaining safety protocols, and promoting a clean work environment. Candidates should possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the store manager is essential, as is having basic supervisory and leadership capabilities to excel in this role.
Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager will assist customers in selecting the appropriate tires and under-car repair services. This sales-focused position requires prior sales experience, particularly with products and services that involve up-selling techniques. A thorough understanding of automotive repairs and the industry is advantageous. Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing a personable and success-oriented demeanor.
