Tuffy Tire is excited to announce its partnership with Mavis Tires Family. We are currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our cutting-edge automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Fort Gratiot, MI area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the repair shop. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, managing parts orders, and guaranteeing the quality and timely completion of services that exceed customer expectations. The Assistant Manager will also prioritize personnel safety and maintain a clean and organized shop environment. Candidates should possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, alongside basic mathematical and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical concerns to the store manager is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate basic supervisory and leadership skills.

The Service Manager is tasked with guiding customers in selecting the appropriate tires and under-car repair services. This sales-driven role requires prior experience in sales, particularly in products or services that involve up-selling techniques. Familiarity with automotive repairs and industry knowledge is beneficial. A successful candidate will exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, an outgoing and personable demeanor, and a strong focus on achieving results.
