Tuffy Tire is pleased to become a part of the Mavis Tires family. We are currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Lansing, MI area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the repair shop. Responsibilities include scheduling work for mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and guaranteeing the quality and timely completion of services that exceed customer expectations. The Assistant Manager is also accountable for the safety of personnel and the overall cleanliness of the facility. Candidates should possess a sound understanding of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the store manager is essential. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are also required to succeed in this role.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for guiding customers in selecting the appropriate tires and under-car repair services. This sales-oriented position requires prior experience in sales and a proficiency in upselling techniques. Knowledge of automotive repair and the industry is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role, as is a personable and success-driven attitude.
