NTB/Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is excited to expand our team and is currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Marion, OH area. As one of the largest tire retail and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 locations, Mavis is committed to providing exceptional service.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the repair shop. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and overseeing the quality and timely completion of automotive jobs to exceed customer expectations. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will prioritize the safety of personnel and maintain the overall cleanliness of the shop. Candidates should possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, as well as basic math and computer skills. Effective communication skills are essential for relaying safety and mechanical issues to the store manager for customer correspondence. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are also required to excel in this role.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for guiding customers in selecting tires and understanding the under-car repair services they may require. This sales-oriented role requires prior sales experience, particularly in products and services that involve up-selling techniques. A solid understanding of automotive repairs and industry practices is advantageous. Success in this position demands excellent interpersonal skills, along with an outgoing, personable demeanor, and a focus on achieving results.
