NTB is excited to announce its partnership with the Mavis Tires Family and is currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our advanced automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Canton, OH area. With over 2,000 retail locations nationwide, Mavis stands as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager is crucial to the smooth operation of our repair shop. This role involves scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and ensuring that all jobs are completed with quality and efficiency, consistently exceeding customer expectations. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will oversee the safety of personnel and maintain a clean and organized workshop. Candidates should have a solid understanding of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the store manager and customers is essential. Basic supervisory and leadership abilities are required to excel in this position.
Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in assisting customers with tire selections and necessary under-car repair services. This position is sales-driven and requires prior experience in sales within a context that necessitates up-selling techniques. Knowledge of automotive repairs and industry practices is advantageous.
