NTB, in association with Mavis Tires, is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our advanced automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Hudson, OH area. As one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is committed to providing exceptional service.
Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the repair shop. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and overseeing the quality and timely completion of services to exceed customer expectations. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and a clean shop. Candidates should possess knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, alongside basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical issues to the Store Manager to relay to customers is essential. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are necessary for success in this role.
Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for engaging with customers regarding tire selections and under-car repair services. This role requires a strong sales aptitude, necessitating prior experience in a sales environment where upselling techniques are utilized. A background in automotive repairs and a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry is advantageous.
