Tuffy Tire is excited to announce our integration with the Mavis Tires Family. We are currently seeking dedicated full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Flint, MI area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is recognized as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.
Position Overview: Assistant Manager
As a pivotal member of the management team, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in ensuring that each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Utilizing fundamental leadership abilities, Assistant Managers are tasked with upholding established policies, procedures, and standards. Key responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and prompt completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and prioritizing the safety of all team members.
Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager plays a crucial role in assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under-car repair services. To guarantee complete customer satisfaction through the timely delivery of high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians, and Tire Technicians while staging vehicle repair and maintenance tasks. In addition to driving Mavis’s sales initiatives, Service Managers are responsible for engaging with customers, assessing their needs, providing information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction with their in-store experience, and striving to exceed customer expectations.
