Job description:
We are seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join the Mavis Tires Family at our advanced automotive service and retail tire sales center in the Cuyahoga Falls, OH area. As a prominent player in the industry, with over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is recognized as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient functioning of the repair shop. This role entails scheduling work for mechanics and technicians, ordering necessary parts, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to a high standard that surpasses customer expectations, maintaining a safe work environment, and upholding cleanliness within the shop. Candidates should possess knowledge in under-car repairs, alignments, tire services, and exhaust systems, alongside basic math and computer skills. Effective communication of safety and mechanical concerns to the Store Manager is essential, along with basic supervisory and leadership capabilities.

The Service Manager’s primary responsibility is to assist customers in selecting tires and determining the necessary under-car repair services. This sales-oriented position requires previous experience in sales, particularly in products or services involving upselling techniques. An understanding of automotive repairs and industry knowledge is beneficial. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and a personable, success-driven attitude.
