Tuffy Tire is excited to be part of the Mavis Tires Family and is seeking dedicated full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at our cutting-edge automotive service and retail tire sales centers located in the Flint, MI area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis stands as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient operation of the repair shop, including scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, and ensuring high-quality and timely job completion that exceeds customer expectations. Key responsibilities include maintaining the safety of staff, ensuring shop cleanliness, and effectively communicating safety and mechanical concerns to the Store Manager for customer engagement. Candidates should have a solid understanding of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems, along with foundational mathematical and computer skills. Basic supervisory and leadership capabilities are essential for success in this role.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager will assist customers in selecting tires and necessary under-car repair services. This sales-oriented position requires prior experience in sales, particularly in product or service upselling. Knowledge of automotive repairs and industry practices is advantageous. Successful candidates will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and will be outgoing, personable, and results-driven.
