Tuffy Tire is proud to be a part of the Mavis Tires Family. We are currently seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers located in the Highland, MI area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis stands as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

Position Overview: Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager will oversee the efficient operation of the repair shop. Responsibilities include scheduling the work of mechanics and technicians, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of repairs that exceed customer expectations, maintaining a safe work environment for personnel, and upholding the cleanliness of the shop. Candidates should possess knowledge in under-car repairs, alignments, tire services, and exhaust systems, as well as demonstrate basic math and computer skills. It is essential to communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager to relay necessary information to customers. Basic supervisory and leadership skills are required to excel in this role.

Position Overview: Service Manager
The Service Manager will assist customers in selecting the appropriate tires and under-car repair services. This sales-oriented role requires prior sales experience with products or services that necessitate up-selling techniques. A strong understanding of automotive repairs and the tire industry is advantageous. Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with an outgoing and personable demeanor, contribute to success in this position.
