In your role as an Automotive Technician within Goodyear’s Auto Service centers, you will be tasked with professional inspection, diagnosis, and execution of automotive services, all while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

– Identify and troubleshoot automotive problems utilizing strong diagnostic skills.
– Inspect, repair, and diagnose essential systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
– Engage in continuous learning through formal training sessions to remain informed about rapidly evolving automotive technology, while promoting teamwork to ensure accurate and timely guest service.
– Uphold high standards of sales, service, safety, and cleanliness. Use protective equipment as required when operating machinery and handling tools.
– Execute a range of manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting lightweight and heavyweight items, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements:

– Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
– A minimum of three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs, is required.
– Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring company sponsorship, either now or in the future.
– Preferred qualifications include Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension, A5 Certification in Brakes, state inspection licenses, and/or MAC certification.
