SUMMARY
As a Repair Technician, you will conduct basic inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical services for automobiles and light trucks. Your role is essential in ensuring exceptional customer service while adhering to safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment, and tools. Additionally, you will manage inventory and supplies and contribute to the maintenance of the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate tire balancing and mounting equipment, perform flat repairs, execute tire rotations, and carry out diagnostic tests to assess tire wear and vibration.
- Maintain an informed understanding of tire lines in order to effectively manage inventory, procedures, stock inquiries, and shipping/receiving tasks.
- Conduct lubrication, oil, and filter (LOF) changes and visual inspections, including under-hood, under-car, and wheel-off assessments.
- Execute basic removal and replacement tasks, including battery installations, filter changes, wiper blade and headlamp replacements, and minor bulb alterations.
- Perform vehicle alignments and flushes of cooling systems, power steering, and transmissions with appropriate equipment.
- Undertake basic diagnostics, including recognizing and addressing noise or vibration issues post road test.
- Aid in facility upkeep by adhering to proper opening and closing protocols, maintaining cleanliness, and undertaking general maintenance tasks.
EQUIPMENT/TOOLS
Safely and effectively operate equipment including tire machines, balancers, lubrication tools, flat repair tools, lifts, impact guns, torque wrenches, tread depth gauges, grinders, wire wheels, micrometers, flushing machines, torches, alignment racks, and any other necessary implements necessary for the role of Tire & Alignment Technician.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum training includes:
- Knowledge in Basic Services
- Familiarity with Starting and Charging Systems

- Fundamental automotive diagnostic skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS and REASONING ABILITY
Proficient in basic arithmetic—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
