Job description:
NTB is proud to be part of the Mavis Tire family. We are seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers located in the South Euclid, OH area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis stands as one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

In the role of Automotive Mechanic, you will serve as crucial leaders in undercar repairs. Your responsibilities will encompass inspecting, diagnosing, and executing a variety of automotive services on our customers’ vehicles. You will be tasked with an array of undercar repairs, including but not limited to brakes, struts, and shocks. Additionally, you will handle state-mandated inspections, perform oil and filter changes, check fluid levels, replace worn parts, and manage tire-related tasks such as dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing.

To qualify for the position of Automotive Mechanic, you must meet the following criteria: (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) possess legal authorization to work in the United States; (3) have a minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the responsibilities associated with this role; and (4) possess a comprehensive toolbox of personal tools required for undercar repairs.

Preferred qualifications include: (1) state inspection license(s); and (2) ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

This is an active position requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements typical of vehicle maintenance and automotive repair. Mechanics must also be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving items weighing over 50 pounds.
