Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental vehicle diagnostics to accurately identify necessary repairs.
• Consistently complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process on all guest vehicles, documenting and communicating any additional required services and repairs; periodically audit courtesy inspections completed by General Service Technicians.
• Assist with inventory management, including the pulling of tires and parts, unloading, and stocking inventory.
• Engage in general store duties, ensuring the store is impeccably maintained and meets Monro’s standards for cleanliness, consistently being in a guest-ready state.
• Perform services in adherence to Monro’s safety standards, particularly regarding wheel torque and oil safety compliance procedures.
• Conduct vehicle test drives in compliance with Monro’s Road Test policy, following dedicated routes while obeying all local traffic and safety laws.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as governmental standards, including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA regulations. Consistently implement all safety protocols established during training.
• Maintain technical knowledge and skills by completing all required training through Monro University in a timely manner.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to Monro and manufacturer guidelines, including but not limited to lifts, welders, and brake lathes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary and Compensation:

• Salary Range: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
• This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training with a focus on basic vehicle maintenance and repair, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) are preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and be capable of operating customer vehicles for test drives.
• Ownership of a basic tool set, or participation in Monro’s tool purchase program, is required.
