Job description:
Job Duties:
– Possess an extensive knowledge of drink recipes and demonstrate the ability to mix beverages accurately, efficiently, and without waste.
– Prepare cocktails and other beverages by mixing the appropriate ingredients.
– Serve drinks and food to guests at the bar.
– Monitor guests’ needs to ensure complete satisfaction by delivering all items promptly and with a friendly demeanor.
– Adhere to alcohol awareness protocols to prevent guest intoxication and manage any situations involving intoxicated patrons.
– Complete alcohol awareness and safety training programs successfully.
– Prepare and organize garnishes for beverages.
– Ensure a consistent supply of ice, glassware, and other essential bar supplies.
– Manage the ordering and inventory of liquor, mixers, and various bar supplies.
– Process guest payments and operate the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system with speed and efficiency.
– Reconcile and securely handle all financial transactions at the end of each shift.
– Maintain a neat and professional appearance by wearing a company-approved uniform at all times.
– Proficiently use the P.O.S. system, accurately make change, and execute credit card transactions.

Strength Demands:
– Ability to perform medium work, including lifting approximately 30 lbs multiple times during a shift.
– Capability to walk and stand for the duration of a 6-8 hour shift.

Education/Experience:
– Candidates must successfully complete bar training and validation processes.
– A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role is required.
